Andrée Putman, the legendary French designer, died on in Paris Saturday.  She was 87 years old.

Her StudioPutman, established in 1997 specialized in interior design and product design. In 2007, Andrée’s daughter Olivia agreed to take over.  In 2010, Paris’s City Hall paid tribute to Andrée Putman by hosting a great exhibition about her life.  The event,  Andrée Putman, ambassador of style attracted more than 250,000 visitors.

She will be sadly missed.
